Bayside Shopping Centre in Frankston is a dynamic hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment, offering a complete experience with over 250 specialty stores and major retailers such as Coles, Target, Kmart, and Woolworths. The centre features two food courts, a 12-screen cinema, and popular entertainment venues such as Strike Bowling Bar and Holey Moley Golf Club. Late-night trading on Thursdays and Fridays and 3,500 undercover parking spaces add to its convenience.
A major upgrade was recently undertaken to improve the central chiller plant, ensuring it meets current and future needs. This project, managed by Specialised in collaboration with consulting engineers and contractors, included the installation of a new water-cooled chiller. Careful planning ensured the work was completed while the centre remained fully operational, with structural modifications and a crane process executed over a live site. This upgrade highlights the team’s ability to manage complex projects in active environments with minimal disruption.
