Specialised collaborated with a key client to support and oversee the redevelopment of a Central Sterile Department (CSD) at a major hospital, covering the final design review, decanting transition, commissioning, and project sign-off.
Beginning in May 2023 and scheduled for completion by July 2024, this project within a live operational site required careful planning around access, scheduling, and impact areas. Specialised engaged closely with stakeholders and user groups to ensure a thorough understanding of the facility’s needs and a seamless interface.
They conducted a comprehensive tender process, supervised contractors and maintenance trades to enforce protocols, governance, and standards, and monitored progress while providing updates to stakeholders. Their role included project planning, troubleshooting, and technical support to ensure the project met the client’s specifications.
