Chadstone Hotel – Vicinity Centres

Specialised was engaged during the final four months of the project to manage the detailed coordination and integration of all services, including mechanical systems, building automation (BAS), electrical, communications, security, hydraulics, fire systems, and lifts.

Specialised also oversaw the commissioning and testing of all services in collaboration with the hotel operator and building owner, Vicinity. Our role included programming all commissioning and testing to ensure the project met its completion deadline, leading client interface and coordination meetings, and managing the testing witnessed by the independent commissioning agent (ICA).

We coordinated integration and testing meetings with contractors and Vicinity’s operations team, overseeing all trades and ensuring the seamless integration of services into a unified IT network. Design and engineering advice was provided throughout the project’s completion.
