Specialised was engaged by Jardan Furniture to oversee the delivery of their new head office and manufacturing facility in Scoresby, Victoria.

The project involves the fitout of a new 2,500m² office and a 15,000m² manufacturing facility, which requires a change in building classification from office/warehousing to office/manufacturing. Key works included a site-wide substation upgrade and new main switchboard, the installation of a 500kW solar system, and a new gas feed for the site. The office fitout features meeting rooms, office spaces, and breakout areas, while Specialised coordinated the relocation, commissioning, and testing of all manufacturing equipment.

This also involved incorporating new machines, compressed air systems, major internal infrastructure works, cable trays, new distribution boards, sprinkler modifications, slab strengthening, major concrete penetrations, acoustic treatments, and the installation of Wi-Fi systems and data networks. The project is being staged due to the complexities associated with the change in building classification.
