Summary
Key responsibilities involved negotiating commercial contracts related to utilities, consultant agreements, and construction contracts, as well as navigating approvals and planning submissions with the Victorian State Government and relevant stakeholders. The project demanded meticulous design, engineering, and coordination of major plant services, including Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Audio-Visual, Communications, Security, Surveillance, Fire, and Lift systems.
Additionally, significant coordination and negotiation were required for the major infrastructure needs concerning site services, such as connections for power, water, and gas. The project faced unique challenges due to its high-profile nature within Crown, the complexities of coordinating with consultants based in London, the US, and Singapore, and the intricacies of working within a joint venture framework.
